Taking the axes, they began chopping on the tree to aggravate them to fight us again. With the four of them dead, the four decided to return with the axes and a couple of their bodies that seemed to have a camouflage-like ability. The men’s bodies were drug away from the clearing and buried, Rathues performing the rituals.
That night, elves ‘visited’ our campsite. Thankfully, there were no hostile actions toward them and they reciprocated. They informed the four on more of ‘what NOT to do’ and where they were not ‘invited’ to enter … they paid close attention! The next morning, the group continued toward the stream believing the way they had originally come would be too dangerous to try to carry the creatures down. Luckily, there were workers with boats willing to ferry us across … for a price. Thankfully, they did not know of the creatures before the deal was made on the cost or it would have been much higher.
Successfully returning to the Outpost, we went by Eylath to see what could be made of the creatures and the price, as well. Next, the group was off to Gimpy’s to tell him their findings, returning the axes and the money that was found on the men.
